Situated in southeastern Ontario along the St. Lawrence River in the picturesque region of the 1000 Islands, the Brockville branch of Rotary International has spread worldwide and its objectives so that 'Rotary' has become synonymous with coming to the aid of people around the world. We are a part of Rotary District 7040 which encompasses all of southeastern Ontario, western Quebec and northern New York.
The Rotary Club of Brockville and Rotary International chartered a new club in the Brockville area, in celebration of the 100th year anniversary of Rotary International. The charter night was May 6th 2005
and the new club is The Rotary Club of The 1000 Islands. They meet
every Wednesday morning at 7:00 am at the Brockville
Country Club.
Honouring our motto "SERVICE Above Self", we dedicate ourselves to the "Four Way Test"
As Rotarians, we raise funds to support projects locally and around the world through a number of venues, including donations from its members.
We meet every Monday, 12:15 pm at the Brockville
Country Club, for
fellowship and to discuss in what ways our members can best serve their
community and the world.
