ROTARY GOLF CLASSIC Wednesday July 07th, 2010

The 2009 Canadian Tire Rotary Golf Classic was a tremendous success due to the support of all of our sponsors.  Together, we raised $32,200.  Our target for this year is $40,000.  The Rotary Clubs need your support to reach this goal.

Of the $32,200 we raised from the golf tournament last year, we donated $15,000 to support the Brockville and District Hospice Palliative Care Program and the Leeds/South Grenville Physician Recruitment Program.  The balance of the funds were used to support other local and international Rotary Projects.

For the first time, last year we introduced an afternoon "wine and cheese" event which proved to be a big hit.  We are happy to say the the golf tournament organizing committee have decided to continue with the wine and cheese event again this year for those spouses or non-golfers who will be attended the banquet later on in the evening.

Please join us for a terrific day of golf on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Brockville Country Club.  Lunch is at 12:00 with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm followed by a banquet and the largest silent auction in the area, starting at 6:00 pm.  Thanks to Canadian Tire, our major sponsor and other local businesses, there will be a broad selection of exciting and interesting merchandise for our auction.
